the data is fed into our proprietary software, which generates the mac-index. because of the consistency of our testing system, a 7.51 score in North Carolina will mean the same as a 7.51 score in Las Vegas.  

once a diagnosis is confirmed, our software can track changes in condition over time, meaning it can be used in conjunction with a therapy program to inform doctors as to whether that treatment is working.
