save your brain? yes. yes, we can.

Tracy

following the concussion, tracy never returned to basketball. for years following the concussion she experienced headache, dizziness, light-sensitivity. she was able to go on to college and graduate.

at the time of her concussion, the standard therapy was - none. the evaluation process consists of a series of questions and perhaps a ct-scan or mri. the truth about this process is ct-scans and mri's are not helpful because the injury can not be seen.

concussion and tbi's are functional injury and typically show no disruption of structure that would give findings on a ct-scan or mri.

Mac-index score

the mac-index score is based on a complex computer generated algorithm - mathematical formula. our system takes information from a 10-minute computer test, (that can not be gamed), our bio-scan technology, (which analyses blood flow in the brain and from the heart), our m.a.r.s. technology, (that evaluates small changes in brain function).

a score is generated based on this data, which tells your doctors the condition of your brain and the severity of the concussion.

your mac-index gets better with time as your brain improves from your doctor's therapy.

so yes - you can save your brain.
